These terms cover the Baton plugin, its AI step-writing service and Baton Pro, all made by Chidiebere Chukwudi. By using them you agree to these terms. They’re written to be short and plain.

The plugins

Baton and Baton Pro are free software, released under the GNU General Public License v2 or later. You can use, study, change and share them under that license.

The AI step-writing service

• Baton can send the names of the buttons and links you clicked, the kind of each control and the page name to the service at baton-ai.chidideveloper.workers.dev, which writes short step descriptions. It only does so when a site administrator asks for it. What’s sent and why is described in the privacy policy.
• Free sites can use it a limited number of times a day. Baton Pro sites have no daily limit.
• Don’t use the service to send anything other than what Baton sends, to overload it or to get around its limits.
• It’s provided as is. It may be slow, unavailable or change. When it can’t be reached, Baton still works and writes simple steps without it.

Baton Pro

• Baton Pro is sold by Freemius, our reseller and merchant of record, whose terms apply to the purchase. Licenses are yearly, per number of sites, and renew until you cancel.
• You can get a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason.
• Baton Pro checks its license and looks for updates through the same service, sending your license key, site address and plugin version.

No warranty

Baton, Baton Pro and the service are provided without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss arising from using them.
